Asian Oaks encompass a rich and largely underrepresented section of the Quercus genus — deciduous and evergreen species from East Asia, the Himalayas and the near East. Many are rarely encountered in Australian cultivation but offer exceptional foliage character, year-round interest and a refined botanical presence that rewards the collector’s attention.
