The delivery checker on each tree’s page tells you whether we deliver to you, which days, and what delivery costs, before you reach the checkout.

STEP 3

Book your slot

Choose a delivery slot or a collection window at checkout. On delivery day you get a tracking link, a text when the van is close, and a photo as proof of delivery.

Soft, flat needles, a lighter citrus scent, and horizontal, layered branches that ornaments hang in as well as on. The gentlest tree for small children and pets. 5ft to 10ft (approx. 1.5m to 3.0m).

The tree of the Australian childhood Christmas. The strongest scent of the three and a dense, bushy shape, with firmer needles and a little resin. 5ft to 10ft (approx. 1.5m to 3.0m).

New for 2026. Silver-blue needles and very strong branches, in one size: 5ft (approx. 1.5m), in limited numbers. This is a tree for a short, spectacular display. It drops its needles sooner than the fir or the pine, and the needles are sharp, so bring it in late, keep it in water, and decorate with gloves.

Heights are measured from the cut base of the trunk to the tip of the leader. Allow roughly 10cm more for a stand.

Add-on

Have us set it up

Add the Setup Service to your fresh-cut tree and we carry it in, make the fresh cut, lock it into your stand, remove the netting and take the mess away. It takes about half an hour. You will need your own water-holding stand; we are not selling stands this season.

SIZES

From 200mm pots for a table or a small room up to 430mm statement trees. The Monterey Pine comes in 25L and 35L grow bags, about the size of 300mm and 430mm pots. Each tree’s page gives its height, measured from the base of the pot to the tip of the leader.

GETTING IT TO YOU

Most trees in pots of 300mm and under can travel by courier to NSW, the ACT, Victoria, Queensland and South Australia, or come by van or collection. The 430mm trees are van delivery or collection only, and are limited this season.

CLIMATE

These are cool-climate conifers, and some will not suit a warm garden long term. Each tree’s page says plainly where it thrives, and the checker tells you if your postcode is a poor match.

New this year

The Norfolk Island Pine, a familiar potted Christmas tree in Australian homes, and the Giant Sequoia: a Sequoia from Sequoia Valley Farms.

Collection

Collect on a Tuesday evening from 5:30pm (24 November, 1 December or 8 December), the same day the week’s trees arrive from the grower, or on a Wednesday (25 November, 2 December or 9 December). You choose your day and window at checkout. Our HQ is a collection point a few minutes from the Hume Highway. It is not a farm; your tree is netted and waiting with your name on it. Collection suits anyone outside the delivery areas, including Canberra, Goulburn, the South Coast beyond Kiama and Western Sydney.

Courier

Most potted trees in pots of 300mm and under can be sent by courier to NSW, the ACT, Victoria, Queensland and South Australia, dispatched from mid-November. We are not able to send Christmas trees to Western Australia, the Northern Territory or Tasmania this season. For how courier orders are packed and tracked, see How to Order & Delivery.

On The Day

On delivery day you receive a tracking link to follow the van, a text when we are close, and a photo as proof of delivery. If you have a safe, shaded spot such as a porch or carport, you do not need to be home.

Two open days in December

Our Mittagong HQ opens on two Sundays for anyone who would rather choose in person, or who has left it late.

Fresh-cut and potted

Sunday 13 December, 12pm to 4pm

The last fresh-cut trees of the season, plus potted trees, sold from what we have on hand. It is also the final collection day for orders booked online.

Potted Only

Sunday 20 December, 10am to 3pm

Potted trees only: last-minute stock, five days before Christmas, while it lasts.

Both days are sold from whatever remains after the season’s orders. If you have your heart set on a particular tree and size, order it online.

The address is posted online before each open day, and sent to you with your booking if you choose collection.

Where your tree comes from

Grown by Spruced, collected the week you receive it

Every Christmas tree we sell is grown by Spruced, a specialist Christmas tree grower we have worked with since 2022. This is our fifth season together. The fresh-cut trees are grown in rows, sheared for density and graded for shape before they are netted.

We do not grow the trees ourselves. Our part is to collect each week’s trees from the grower and bring them straight to the Southern Highlands for delivery and collection that same week. There are three grower runs across the season, and the last is in the second week of December.

Christmas tree questions, answered

Where do you deliver, and on which days?

We deliver in our own van to four areas. Sydney on Thursdays: 26 November, 3 December and 10 December. The Illawarra, as far south as Kiama, on Fridays: 27 November, 4 December and 11 December. The Southern Highlands and Wollondilly on Saturday 28 November and Saturday 12 December, with a Friday morning run on 4 December for postcodes 2571 to 2577. The Blue Mountains on Saturday 5 December. Enter your postcode in the checker on any tree’s page to see your own days. If you are outside these areas, you are welcome to collect from our Mittagong HQ.

How much is delivery?

Delivery is priced by area. The checker on each tree’s page shows the delivery price for your postcode before you reach the checkout, so there is nothing to work out and nothing added later. Collection from our Mittagong HQ is free.

What is the latest I can get a tree?

Our last van delivery is Saturday 12 December, and the last collection days are Tuesday evening 8 December and Wednesday 9 December. After that, come to the open day on Sunday 13 December, which has the last fresh-cut trees and potted trees and is the final collection day for orders booked online. Sunday 20 December is a second open day, for potted trees only. If you need something later than that, contact us and we will tell you honestly what is possible.

How long will a fresh-cut tree last?

A Monterey Pine or Douglas Fir keeps for four to five weeks if it is never allowed to run dry: take a 2 to 3cm slice off the base of the trunk when it arrives, stand it in water within the hour, and top the stand up every day. Keep it out of direct sun and away from heaters and air-conditioner vents. The Colorado Blue Spruce is different. It is a tree for a shorter display and drops its needles sooner, so bring it in closer to Christmas. Our Christmas tree care guide has the full method.

Fresh-cut or potted: which is right for me?

A fresh-cut tree is the full-height centrepiece, from 5ft to 10ft, and goes out with the council green waste in January. A potted tree is smaller and alive: it comes indoors for a couple of weeks, then goes back outside to grow on, and many of ours end up planted on a family property a few years later. Fresh-cut trees come by van or collection only. Most potted trees in pots of 300mm and under can also travel by courier to NSW, the ACT, Victoria, Queensland and South Australia. We are not able to send Christmas trees to Western Australia, the Northern Territory or Tasmania this season.

Where do I collect from, and what should I bring?

Collection is from our Mittagong HQ, a few minutes from the Hume Highway. It is a collection point, not a farm, so there is nothing to pick or walk through; your tree is netted and waiting with your name on it, and we help you load it. For a fresh-cut tree, bring a drop sheet or tarp and some old towels, and carry it inside the vehicle if you can. Wind and sun on a roof rack dry a tree faster than anything else.

Do you sell Christmas tree stands?

Not this season. For a fresh-cut tree you will need a water-holding stand: one that holds at least 4 litres for a tree up to 7ft, and more for the larger sizes. If you would like the tree set up for you, add our Setup Service and we will make the fresh cut and lock it into your stand.

Choose your tree, book your slot

Early-bird prices apply until Sunday 15 November. Delivery slots are booked at checkout and fill in date order.
