Australia’s cool-temperate rainforests are among the most ancient and ecologically significant plant communities on the continent, dominated by Nothofagus, tree ferns, myrtle beeches and a complex understorey of endemic species. Restricted to Tasmania, the Victorian ranges and small pockets in southern New South Wales, these communities carry the direct lineage of the Gondwana forest.

Our collection draws from across this flora, with a focus on species suited to cultivation in the Southern Highlands and similar temperate environments.
